American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Stepdown position at a major academic medical center in San Francisco, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of pediatric cardiac stepdown experience.

Variable day and night shifts available: Days 7:00–19:00 and Nights 19:00–7:00 (3x12-hour shifts per week)

12-week contract

Floating to other units and facilities within the health system is required

Active CA RN license required

BSN required
-
Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and PALS
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac Transitional Care/Stepdown required

PICU experience required

Telemetry experience preferred

Experience with arterial lines and central lines preferred

Pediatric critical care, transitional care, and cardiac experience preferred

Care for pediatric stepdown patients including those with cardiac and transitional care needs
