Ivybrook Academy is a premier half-day preschool that provides an innovative and balanced approach to early childhood education. Our school provides a highly professional environment where educators can focus their time on igniting the joy of learning in their students.

We are seeking a Lead Educator and Assistant Educator for the 26-27 School Year (July 27th start date)
Lead Educator Position
- Curriculum & Planning: Develop and execute innovative daily lesson plans that align strictly with the Ivybrook philosophy and hybrid curriculum.
- Active Engagement: Commit to "Active Supervision" by maintaining a constant line of sight and engaging directly with students during all activities to ensure a safe environment.
- Classroom Excellence: Prioritize classroom continuity by working with leadership to ensure students are always supported by a dedicated educator.
- Attendance Excellence: Support our community through a 97% attendance rate (maximum of two absences per semester) to provide the consistent routine children need.
- Physical Vitality: Engage fully in children's play, including the ability to frequently lift and carry up to 35 lbs and move easily within a dynamic classroom setting.
- Student Documentation: Celebrate and document each child’s progress through detailed portfolio assessments.
Requirements & Compliance
- Experience: A minimum of 3 YEARS of classroom teaching experience required.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred.
- Certification: Current CPR Certification required or willingness to get certified.
- Compliance: Employment is contingent upon a successful criminal and sex offender background investigation and a post-offer medical/mental fitness clearance.
- Professional References: Must provide professional references, including direct supervisors.

- Pay: $18.00 – $18.75 per hour.
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM (1pm on Wednesdays for staff meetings)

Assistant Preschool Teacher for the 26-27 School Year (July 27th start date)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Educator . At this stage, children require a delicate balance of independence-building and secure routine. We are looking for a dedicated professional who views early childhood education as a career and understands that classroom continuity is the foundation of student success.
- Instructional Support: Assist in implementing daily discovery-based lessons and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
- Safety Oversight: Maintain active supervision of children at all times and follow all school protocols regarding classroom continuity and student well-being.
- Reliable Presence: Adhere to the 97% attendance requirement to ensure stable staffing ratios and support your teaching partners.
- Physical Vitality: Ability to lift up to 35lbs and engage in active, floor-based play and supervision.
- Student Engagement: Foster meaningful social interactions to enhance children's communication skills and emotional intelligence.
Requirements & Compliance
- Experience: Previous experience in a licensed daycare or school environment preferred.
- Education: Priority given to those with a TCC or degree in progress.
- Compliance: Successful completion of a criminal and sex offender background investigation and post-offer medical/mental fitness clearance required.
- Security: Must adhere to strict security protocols, including exclusive communication through approved digital channels.

Requirements & Compliance
- Experience: A minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience is required within the last 3 years.
- Demonstrated Professional Tenure: Due to our commitment to classroom stability, we prioritize candidates with a history of long-term commitment in previous roles. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain consistent employment; frequent transitions or short-term stints (e.g., under 1 year) are not aligned with the needs of our students.
- Education: Bachelor’s, associate degree, or TCC/CDA in early childhood education (or related field) is required.
- Certification: Current CPR Certification required or willingness to get certified.
- Compliance: Employment is contingent upon a successful criminal and sex offender background investigation and a post-offer medical/mental fitness clearance.
- Professional References: Must provide three professional references, including at least two direct supervisors.
