Temporary Part-Time Maintenance Technician
Are you a skilled and dependable maintenance professional looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity? We are seeking a Temporary Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and overall appearance of residential communities. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong maintenance background who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in creating safe and well-maintained environments for residents.

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining community facilities and common areas by:
- Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and property conditions remain in good working order.
- Completing general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical repairs.
- Cleaning, repairing, and maintaining building fixtures such as lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
- Operating, inspecting, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems as needed.
- Identifying maintenance issues and reporting concerns to management.
- Following all applicable safety procedures and regulations while performing assigned duties.
- Assisting with special projects and community maintenance needs as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, clients, and team members.
- Working knowledge of general maintenance practices, safety procedures, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing maintenance and repair practices.
- Knowledge of OSHA workplace safety standards and applicable state and local safety regulations.
- Ability to use and operate a smartphone, email, and other basic technology tools for communication and work-related reporting.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between properties as needed.
- Required to provide and maintain personal basic hand and power tools (e.g., power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level, hammer, etc.).
- Ability to safely use ladders and perform work at heights of up to two stories (24-28 feet).
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- 3 to 5 years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks associated with property maintenance.
