Job Summary:
Responsible for setting up and tending Milling and Mill Turn Machines to manufacture parts for use in Ripley Tools.
Responsibilities:
Operate and Set up Milling Machines
- Operate and Setup: Manual Knee Mill and CNC Milling machines, as well as MilL Turn machines
- Inspect own work using various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gage and optical comparator
- Maintain quality and production standards
- Perform secondary operations as required
- Read blueprints
- Work with engineering to support product development
- Incorporate lean practices into daily activities
- Participate on continuous improvement teams
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Willing to work overtime
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year job experience in CNC Production environment required.
- Ability to read and write English and do basic math
-Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
