Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Masonry Field Supervisor to lead and oversee masonry construction projects on-site.
This position is vital in ensuring that all masonry work is executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a leader in the field, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily masonry activities on construction sites, ensuring work aligns with project plans, schematics, and blueprints.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop and maintain accurate project schedules.
- Monitor work progress, quality control, and safety compliance by conducting regular site inspections and utilizing tools like OSHA standards.
- Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide team members effectively.
- Manage on-site labor force by supervising masonry crews, assigning tasks, and providing mentorship to ensure high standards of craftsmanship.
- Oversee procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage of supplies like mortar, bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials.
Skills
- Experience in construction site management with a focus on masonry projects.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety protocols.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent management skills with a focus on project scheduling, resource allocation, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
