POSITION DESCRIPTION
Burn Boot Camp Kalispell is seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and growth of our gym.
This is a key leadership position and is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, confident leading people and comfortable taking ownership of a business's daily performance.
The Operations Manager will serve as the primary day-to-day leader of the gym and will be empowered to make operational decisions, lead the team and hold staff accountable while working closely with ownership.
This person will oversee the gym team, including training leadership, front-end/member experience staff and Childwatch operations, while creating clear expectations and accountability across departments.
Just as importantly, this is a sales-driven role. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing leads, ensuring consistent and timely follow-up, converting prospects into memberships, monitoring the sales pipeline and helping the gym achieve membership and revenue goals.
We are looking for someone who doesn't simply complete tasks, but sees what needs to be done and takes ownership of getting it done.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the day-to-day leader of Burn Boot Camp Kalispell and maintain strong communication with ownership.
- Lead, manage and hold the gym team accountable to Burn standards, expectations and performance goals.
- Directly manage department/team leads, including the Lead Trainer, and create clear accountability across all areas of the business.
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, training and ongoing development of team members.
- Own the gym's lead-management and sales process, including timely follow-up with prospective members.
- Track leads from initial inquiry through trial, follow-up and membership conversion.
- Monitor member engagement and retention, proactively identifying members who may be disengaging and implementing strategies to strengthen retention and reduce cancellations.
- Personally participate in membership sales while coaching the team to confidently communicate Burn's value and convert prospects.
- Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, membership growth and other key performance indicators and regularly report results to ownership.
- Develop and maintain organized systems for lead management, scheduling, staffing, communications and administrative tasks to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Deliver an exceptional member experience and help build a strong, welcoming and connected Burn community.
- Identify member concerns quickly and take ownership of resolving them.
- Ensure the facility is clean, organized, safe and operating according to Burn Boot Camp standards.
- Oversee inventory, supplies, vendors and other day-to-day operational needs.
- Support local marketing, community partnerships, events, pop-ups and grassroots membership-building efforts.
- Work with ownership to execute marketing initiatives and promotions.
- Assist with budgeting, expense management and overall financial accountability.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, grow membership and strengthen the member experience.
- Be willing to step in wherever needed. This is a hands-on leadership position in a growing business.
