Pro Source Excavation – Excavation Laborer
We're a growing excavation company looking for a dependable laborer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to build a career in excavation. No prior excavation experience is required - we're willing to train the right person.
About the position
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM but hours may vary
- Work is primarily outdoors and can involve physically demanding tasks
- Assist excavation crew with residential and commercial excavation projects
- Opportunity to learn and operate excavation equipment as skills develop
Typical responsibilities
- Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation
- Shovel, rake, move materials, and perform general labor
- Assist equipment operators and crew members
- Help with loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean, organized jobsite
- Follow jobsite safety procedures and company policies
- Perform basic maintenance and care of tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Other duties as needed to support the excavation crew
- Occasional travel to job sites outside the local area may be required, with per diem provided when applicable
Qualifications
- Previous equipment operating experience is a plus
- Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
- Must be able to safely lift and carry materials as required
- Valid driver’s license
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
