American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 16-week travel assignment, with a minimum of 1 year of IR experience and BLS certification required.

Interventional Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting
-
Adult to geriatric patient population
-
Average daily census of 8 patients
-
EMR systems include Epic, Pyxis, and PACS
-
Day shift, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
10 days of call required per month
-
Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
-
Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Tech experience

Active BLS certification required
-
License required if applicable
-
Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Local candidates are accepted

Scrubs are provided by the facility

RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4–12)

If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays and no holiday RTO can be requested; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them and one holiday RTO request may be reviewed for approval

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a full year before returning as a traveler

No scheduling requests or alternate shift requests are permitted; the listed shift is firm
