Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and custodial teams in delivering exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards across our facilities. In this vital role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and customer service expectations.
- Monitor cleaning quality to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including industrial and commercial cleaning protocols.
- Schedule shifts, assign duties, and manage staffing levels to meet operational needs efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Implement effective cleaning & sanitation management practices to maintain hygiene across all spaces.
- Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding operational updates, safety concerns, or service issues.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services within a commercial or industrial setting.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies management.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate tasks and address concerns.
- Background in customer service to ensure guest satisfaction through high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Prior experience in laundry operations or housekeeper management is preferred but not required.
