Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods and multitask efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; familiarity with cashiering is beneficial
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
