Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of settings. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial, industrial, and construction environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and repair tasks
- Test electrical systems using devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local regulations to ensure compliance during all work activities
- Work on low voltage and high voltage systems, including control panels and circuit breakers
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines
Skills
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with precision
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools for efficient work completion
- Knowledge of NEC standards and safety protocols for construction site environments
- Experience working on renovation projects within existing structures or new construction sites
- Ability to perform troubleshooting using testing devices like ohmmeters and multimeters accurately
- Strong understanding of electrical codes related to both commercial and industrial applications
- Previous construction site experience demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Capable of reading blueprints and schematics for complex electrical layouts
- Additional handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support
