Duties
- Operate and monitor food production equipment in accordance with FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
- Assist in preparing ingredients and packaging materials, ensuring accurate measurements and proper handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas by following strict sanitation procedures to prevent contamination.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, verifying product consistency and safety standards.
- Support packaging operations by assembling, sealing, labeling, and inspecting finished products for compliance.
- Use basic math skills to measure ingredients, calculate quantities, and record production data accurately.
- Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished goods within the facility, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with food processing plants or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating production machinery and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent sanitation habits to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for ingredient measurement and data recording.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire is preferred.
