American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a Diagnostic Radiology position at a large Level II trauma center hospital in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of experience and skills across all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging.

Diagnostic Radiology department in a large, 800-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center

Evening shift: 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday through Thursday

13-week travel contract

Equipment includes GE radiology rooms, GE and Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms

EMR: Cerner Rad Net
-
Procedures include all diagnostic imaging, portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging
-
Weekend rotation required
-
Minimum 2+ years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with active experience within the last 6 months

ARRT (R) certification required
-
Proficiency in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging

ED trauma imaging experience required

Fluoroscopic procedure experience preferred

License required if applicable

SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position

The facility is the region's only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital, serving a high-acuity and diverse patient population

Evening shift team includes approximately 10 staff technologists, 2 student techs, and a supervisor
