· Perform thorough tire, wheel, and rim inspections and related repairs on equipment as directed by supervisor.
· Perform diagnosis and repairs of the tractor/trailer fleet for tires, wheels, and rims.
· Complete all necessary Tire Department tags and work orders.
· Identify tire construction, types of tire wear, and various tire damage types. Ensure all tires are within specified pressure range, tread depths are measured and recorded, and Out of Service conditions are reported and tagged.
· Inspect tire casing for any unsafe wear issues (Sidewall separation, punctures, unusual wear, etc) and repair or discard as needed.
· Move, sort, load, unload, mount, and dismount tires for inventory and inspection purposes.
· Move equipment in/out of the Tire Shop and around the yard.
· Maintains a clean and safe work area.
· Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
· Perform Preventive Maintenance, CVI’s and minor repairs on tractors.
· Perform all shop functions in a safety lane.
· Will be required to perform after hours calls on any tire issues that may occur. These after hours calls should be attended too and are paid when called to maintenance a tire.

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
