Millwork Shop Employee
Established in 1992, Artistry in Wood is a millwork and custom cabinetry shop in Syracuse, NY. We are a family owned and run company, and take pride in what we manufacture.
Artistry in Wood is looking for a millwork shop employee to work with laminate, solid surface, hardwood, hardware, etc. Jobs may entail cabinet building, carpentry skills, blue print reading, sanding, routing, machining, finish & paint.
Millwork Shop Employee Duties/Responsibilities:
*Must have the ability to read work orders and blue prints.
*Must have knowledge of tools & hardware.
*Ability to work without guidance once given a task.
*Follow safety guidelines.
*Lift between 50-70lbs regularly.
*Report to Shop Foreman.
Millwork Shop Employee Qualifications:
*Some knowledge of woodworking required.
*Stable work history & reliable work references.
*Ability to handle heavy lifting.
*Great communication and reading skills (English).
*Friendly, courteous & reliable self-starter.
Job Type:
*Full Time - Monday-Thursday 7AM – 5:30PM, and Fridays (when necessary - overtime).
*Compensation based upon experience.
