- Operate and calibrate NDT equipment for in-process inspections.
- Inspect welds under a microscope and perform visual inspections before and after E-coat.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
- Identify quality concerns and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Work with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
- Complete inspection paperwork accurately and on time.
- Assist with other quality-related tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
- Basic math skills, including algebra and geometry, to understand measurements and tolerances.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Lift up to 30 pounds.
- Stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Bend, reach, and crouch while inspecting parts.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with changing temperatures and noise.
- Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, sleeves, and long pants.
