Position Overview
The Substitute Instructional Assistant supports licensed teachers in delivering instructional programs to students. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting students in small group or one-on-one learning settings
- Preparing instructional materials
- Supporting classroom activities and lesson plans
- Maintaining a positive and structured learning environment
- Reinforcing classroom expectations and school-wide behavior standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED (may be required by district)
- Ability to pass FBI and Oregon criminal background clearance
