Job Summary
Coastal Creations is looking for a Construction Foreman/Carpenter to lead crews on new construction and renovation projects. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll work alongside the crew, guide day-to-day tasks, and help keep jobs running smoothly. Experienced carpenters and foremen are encouraged to apply, but we're also open to strong candidates with solid carpentry fundamentals who are ready to grow into a leadership role, with the right training and mentorship.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate daily tasks for on-site crews
- Perform hands-on carpentry work including framing, finish work, and general construction tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
- Ensure work is completed to quality and safety standards
- Communicate progress and any issues to the Project Manager
- Help train and mentor less experienced crew members
- Maintain organization of tools, materials, and job sites
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Be willing to travel to job sites across NJ
Qualifications
- Must be 25 or older
- Solid carpentry skills and hands-on construction experience required; prior foreman or lead experience preferred but not required for the right candidate
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans, or willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work on your feet throughout the day
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to grow with the company

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
