Job Summary:
The Front Desk Staff plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for members and guests in a dynamic and fast-paced club setting. This position requires a courteous yet professional attitude during all interactions, ensuring exceptional service is delivered at every touchpoint. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a positive atmosphere while supporting a wide variety of activities and day-to-day operations.
Essential Job Functions:

Answer telephone in an efficient and professional manner.

Deliver a consistently high level of personalized service to both members and resort guests, ensuring a welcoming and refined experience.

Respond to special requests or last-minute changes with poise and flexibility, maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.

Provide accurate and timely information regarding court assignments, weekly programming, and upcoming events.

Take reservations for members and guests, and assign courts as needed.

Monitor court usage to ensure efficient turnover, timely transitions between reservations, and adherence to club policies.

Maintain close and direct communication with the Shop Supervisor, Member Concierge and Resort.

Check in members and guests and collect guest fees as applicable.

Ensure the front desk area is always neat, professional, and representative of club standards.

Perform opening and closing duties according to current standards.

Maintain the organization of tennis shop merchandise, adjusting displays, stocking, and rotating stock.

Keep the storeroom and shop organized; maintain inventory pars.

Monitor and restock office supplies.

Submit maintenance tickets as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and overall presentation of the tennis shop.

Assist customers with merchandise selection and sales.

Support monthly inventory processes.

Process transactions using the POS system.

Assist with facility and event setup as needed.
Qualifications:

Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude.

Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Proficiency in POS systems, reservation software, and calendar management.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required.

Prior experience in a resort or club environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Work tasks are performed both indoors and outdoors.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments on a timely basis.

Talking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates.
