Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on Subaru vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain components, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Diagnose and repair engines and other specialized powertrain components with precision.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
- Experience working with Schematics, Automotive wiring diagrams, and interpreting complex technical documents.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology, vehicle alignment procedures, and suspension system repair.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrains, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance protocols.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, etc. effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
