The Role: Locksmith
We are looking for a dedicated Locksmith to join our team. This role is a blend of precision craftsmanship and modern technology. You will work within our Retail Storefront (handling walk-in customers and high-tech automotive programming) and our Service Department (performing field re-keys, door repairs, and safe logistics).
What You Will Do:
- Precision Craftsmanship: Cut and duplicate keys with 100% accuracy—from antique house keys to high-security restricted systems.
- Automotive Tech: Cut and program complex transponder keys and fobs for a wide variety of vehicles.
- Field Service: Perform residential and commercial re-keying, door hardware installation, and ADA compliance upgrades (Assa Abloy, Allegion, Dorma Kaba).
- Safe Logistics: Assist in the sale, moving, and professional delivery of high-security safes.
- Total Ownership: Manage your assigned jobs from start to finish. This includes active communication with customers, "on-the-way" calls, and maintaining flawless documentation (photos and notes) in our internal job management systems.

Requirements:
- Experience in locksmithing or mechanical trades preferred, but we will train the right "can-do" candidate.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex software (ADP and dispatch/inventory management tools).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform "outrageous" dedication—sometimes the job requires extra effort to ensure a customer is safe.
