Job Functions:
- Unload incoming trucks and verify shipping documents
- Consult with Quality Control to determine if materials are acceptable to receive
- Operate a forklift or hand truck to move, hoist and put away inventory
- Ability to read and understand customer Pick List
- Pull items for orders per Pick List
- Record all batch codes from products to the retained Pick List
- Determine the appropriate shipping carton
- Reference “Z Notes” binder for customers specific shipping requirements
- Prepare and wrap pallets for shipping
- Load truck for shipping
- UPS Worldship
- Check that all weighing scales are current on verifications
- Weigh all pallets and record weights
- Assist others in departments and Manufacturing as needed
- Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
- Comply with all safety rules
Job Requirements:
- Forklift experience REQUIRED
- Working knowledge of computers
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
Competencies and Authorities:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- On the job training
Physical Demands:
- This is a very active position where standing, walking, bending, kneeling and climbing occurs on a daily basis. This position will require frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 50 lbs.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
