Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Oil and Gas Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will support the accounting functions specific to the oil and gas industry, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with industry standards, and efficient processing of financial transactions. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate data entry using various financial software
- Support general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Help prepare financial reports and perform data analysis using Excel spreadsheets to identify discrepancies or trends relevant to oil and gas operations.

Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles in
