Denver condominium association (55+) is seeking a part-time, seasonal Golf Shop Attendant to help operate the BEAUTIFUL PAR 3, 9-hole golf course and shop that sits at the heart of the community for residents and non-residents to enjoy. The Golf Shop Attendant will assist with sales, club storage, tee time scheduling, cart rentals, tournament assistance and customer service.
The seasonal, part-time Golf Shop Attendant must be proficient in golf, player’s etiquette, and have an overall love for the game. The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for member and guest satisfaction and is expected to have a professional appearance and demeanor. In this role, the Golf Shop Attendant will work closely with the Head Golf Manager and the Assistant Golf Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work a part-time and flexible work schedule which includes working on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Be a self-starter and able to work both independently with minimal supervision and on a team.
- Have knowledge of the game of golf. Knowledge of the rules of golf and USGA Handicap System, preferred. Assist golfers in these areas as needed or requested.
- Navigate Microsoft Office products and operate the POS system and tee time scheduling software.
- Implement and abide by policies established by the Association.
- Assist with golfer tee times, scheduling, check-in and fee collection, control and manage play, answer phone calls, pull golf bags from the storage room, pull carts from the cart barn, clean carts after use, and put clubs away.
- Help ensure all course rules are being followed by occasionally making a tour of the golf course to monitor behavior and proactively resolve any issues that may occur.
- Perform all opening and closing procedures reliably and accurately. Assist with light cleaning, vacuuming, and removing trash from the golf shop.
- Assist in facility tournaments and weekly event operations, including preparation, course set-up, scoring, etc.
- Assist the Golf Manager and Assistant Golf Manager with the association’s monthly golf program and clinics.
- Assist the Golf Manager and Assistant Golf Manager with inventory control including conducting monthly inventory counts and rotating the golf shop displays.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all merchandise stocked in the Golf Shop.
- Actively sell and promote all merchandise stocked in the Golf Shop.
- Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner in attitude and appearance.

Physical, Environmental, Cognitive and Social Requirements:
- Frequently lifts/carries 25-50 pounds.
- Occasionally lifts/carries 50+ pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
- Frequently required to sit, stand (for long periods of time), walk, reach, stoop, bend, crouch, and squat climb, kneel, in and out of golf carts, and to twist at the neck and waist, reach above and below shoulder level, push and pull when retrieving, storing, and moving golf bags; use dominate hand and fingers to feel and grasp, push and pull and for fine manipulation to detail carts, clean clubs, etc. Frequently required to work outdoors, exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme outdoor weather conditions (hot and cold) and moderate to loud noise levels.
- Indoor or outdoor setting depending on service area.
- Varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.
Starting Pay
$20.50/hour
