Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries with clear communication skills.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling.
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
- Manage the cash drawer efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing registers at shift end.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and support merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive store presentation.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders.
- Support store operations by assisting with stocking, inventory management, and ensuring retail store product knowledge is up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and clearly.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Demonstrated supervising experience is advantageous for team collaboration and leadership opportunities.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and inventory management is desirable.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences.
