TITLE: Human Resources Administrator
OVERVIEW: The HR Administrator assists and coordinates recruiting, core HR, payroll and onboarding functions and processes. This position is responsible for using sound judgment and strict confidentiality in all human resource functions. As a member of the Human Resources Department, this position will support the organization in core HR functions including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, HR administrative functions and enforcing company policies and practices. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists with managing employee data in the HRIS system
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Provides reporting as needed for HR and other departments.
Updates HRIS system modules as needed.
Tracks employee learning for compliance.
Administers bi-weekly payroll through the organization’s HRIS system, as needed
Responsible for the Volunteer Recruiting and Onboarding function, as well as, other positions as needed:
Facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process
Maintains organization’s job postings.
Screen applications, schedule interviews, and select qualified candidates to move forward in the selection process with the assistance of the HR Generalist and VP of HR.
Prepares interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Participates in job fairs and other recruitment efforts
Facilitates the background check process.
Assists with coordination of the New Hire on-boarding and off-boarding processes for the organization.
Coordinates employee recognition programs and events.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate HR staff or management.
Manage the Labor Law posters for all sites.
Administrative duties as assigned.
Submits monthly Department of Labor Reporting.
Manages Volunteer recruitment, processing, tracking and reporting.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred, or equivalent experience in Human Resources or Business Administration
2+ years of experience in human resources.
Prior experience working in HRIS systems; UKG preferred.
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Generally, the job requires 40% sitting and 60% walking and standing.
This position is performed under minimal temperature variations, in a generally hazard-free environment, and in varying atmospheric conditions.
