What You’ll Actually Do
The core of the job is straightforward. You’ll service residential customers’ yards in Cherokee and Forsyth counties and surrounding areas. You’ll work independently, manage your own route, and represent Doozy in the community every single day.
- Thoroughly clean and inspect customer yards to Doozy’s standards on each visit.
- Secure and photograph gates after every service to protect customer property and pets.
- Identify and report yard hazards, aggressive animals, or property issues immediately.
- Keep your vehicle and equipment clean, organized, and professional at all times.
- Log job completions accurately and on time using our mobile app.
- Represent the Doozy brand in the field with pride, friendliness, and professionalism.
- Attend monthly business and strategy meetings where you get real behind-the-scenes insight into how we grow.
The Part Other Jobs Don’t Offer
Every Doozy Scooper participates in our ongoing business training program. You’ll sit in on real financial reviews, help us problem-solve operations, and learn from owners who are actively building this company and have built other successful small businesses. Topics are relevant to running other home services such as lawn care, pest control, pool service, etc. and include (but not limited to):
- How to price services and build customer value
- Sales, referrals, and simple marketing that works
- Reading a P&L and understanding what drives profit
- Customer service systems that create loyal, long-term clients
- Leadership, accountability, and what it takes to run a team
Whether you’re aiming to own your own business someday, move into management, or simply build a strong work ethic and resume, this role will sharpen you.
Pay, Schedule & Perks
Starting pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour plus you keep 100% of the tips.
Schedule: You will work the agreed upon hours between Monday and Friday. We are closed on the weekends.
Employment Type: W-2 employee, not a gig/contractor role.
Training: Paid businessworkshops and company strategy meetings are included in your hours.
Environment: Outdoor, independent field work with a tight-knight mission-driven team.
You're a Perfect Fit If...

- Shows up on time, every time. Dependability is non-negotiable for us.
- Takes pride in doing the job right, even when no one’s watching.
- Does not mind working outside in the cold, heat, some rain, etc. We don't work when it's unsafe, but we show up rain or shine.
- Wants to understand how a business works, not just collect a paycheck.
- Is coachable. You welcome feedback and actually use it to get better.
- Has a clean driving record and is comfortable driving a company vehicle.
- Enjoys working outside and doesn’t mind getting your hands dirty in any weather.
- Treats customers’ properties and pets with genuine care and respect.
- Has a positive attitude that lifts the team even on frustrating days.
