Job Overview
We are looking for a fun, work driven, and people-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our vape shop team. In this role, you will create a welcoming and engaging environment for customers while helping them find the products that best fit their needs.
You will assist customers by answering questions, recommending vape devices, e-liquids, and accessories, and introducing new and popular products to those who may be unsure of what to choose. Staying knowledgeable on current products and trends will be key to providing a great customer experience.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked store while contributing to a positive, team-focused atmosphere. Ideal candidates are outgoing, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment where customer interaction is a top priority.
Duties
- Greet Customers as they enter to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes them want to return.
- Assist customers in selecting vape devices, e-liquids, and accessories based on their preferences and needs.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and educate customers on product use and features.
- Introduce and promote new, trending, or popular products to increase sales and customer interest.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor and display areas.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Deliver friendly, engaging customer service while building rapport and encouraging repeat business.
Experience
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Basic knowledge of vape products or willingness to quickly learn.
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
We are looking to fill a Part-time position. Base pay of $12 an hour is accompanied by tips that average out to roughly an extra $3 an hour ($12 is more like $15). All tips are kept 100% by the employees, and any cash tips are non taxed.
