Community Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our property management company as a Community Manager. As part of our staff, you will assist new tenants with move-in procedures, resolve tenant disputes, enforce building rules, and collect rents for delivery to management. You must be on-call for emergencies, and you should have experience with building maintenance, utilities, and landscaping. This is a relationship-oriented position, and our ideal candidate has an open, friendly demeanor and the ability to build rapport with tenants from all walks of life and experiences.
Community Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Show vacant units to prospective residents
- Assist new residents with move-in procedures, such as signing lease agreements
- Resolve common tenant disputes, such as noise complaints, to the satisfaction of all parties
- Perform light maintenance and landscaping
- Liaise with vendors and repair subcontractors as necessary
Community Manager Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Experience with building maintenance and management strongly preferred
- Friendly, affable demeanor
- Ability to be on-call for building emergencies
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
