Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical wiring and assembly techniques, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Wire Harness Assembler will work with various tools and equipment to create high-quality assemblies that are critical to our production process.
Duties
- Assemble wire harnesses according to specifications and schematics
- Perform soldering and crimping of wires and connectors
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for assembly tasks
- Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC-A-620 standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or electrical assembly is highly desirable
- Ability to read schematics and follow detailed assembly instructions
- Knowledge of electrical wiring principles and practices is essential
- Experience with hand tools and measuring techniques.
