Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional comfort at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills in toddlers, infants, and preschoolers
- Support childhood development milestones through nurturing interactions and educational play
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and daily activities
- Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other daily routines for infants and toddlers
- Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and social interactions among children
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying or classroom environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
- Hands-on experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and sleep routines
- Familiarity with classroom experience or daycare operations is advantageous
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required or highly desirable
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
