Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages during busy service hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest ages when serving alcoholic beverages.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in settings such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy.
- Previous experience with serving alcohol responsibly in environments that require adherence to legal regulations.

EDUCATION
High School Graduate or GED preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Previous bar/restaurant serving experience preferred.

GENERAL NOTES
· Hours: 4pm-11pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Bartenders will be required to work varying schedules as dictated by the business needs of the hotel. This includes attendance at all scheduled brand and job specific training sessions and meetings. May require nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Consistent attendance in accordance to the standards set forth by Converge Hospitality Group must be maintained and is an essential element of the success in this role. If the Bartender is unable to meet these requirements, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action based on franchisee operating policies, up to and including termination of employment.
