Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries, ensuring a positive interaction at all times
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Manage food service duties including food preparation, serving, and maintaining food safety standards in line with food industry regulations
- Operate POS systems efficiently during busy periods to ensure smooth checkout experiences for customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café or retail area, adhering to food safety and handling protocols
- Support team members with food industry tasks such as coffee brewing, food handling, and serving to enhance customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills by balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
- Strong background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Experience in food service environments such as cafés or restaurants, including food preparation and serving skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Barista experience is a plus, especially familiarity with coffee industry practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash register operations
