The MTSS Manager leads implementation of Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention systems across all Kindezi schools. This network-level leader ensures consistent, high-quality intervention processes aligned to instructional expectations through coaching and support to ensure student access to grade-level standards.
Lead the implementation of universal screening processes to ensure timely, accurate identification of all learners, including students in need of Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports, students approaching proficiency, and students who may require enrichment or advanced services.
Analyze screening and progress monitoring data to identify trends, root causes, and student needs, and translate findings into actionable next steps for instruction and intervention.
Facilitate data conversations with teachers and school leaders to support data-driven instructional decisions and grouping for intervention and enrichment.
Ensure screening tools and processes are implemented with fidelity, including training staff and monitoring administration practices.
Oversee the development and maintenance of data systems and trackers to monitor student progress, intervention effectiveness, and movement across tiers.
Partner with school leadership to align screening, progress monitoring, and intervention planning within the MTSS framework and school-wide priorities.
Coordinate school-wide assessment windows in alignment with MTSS needs, ensuring data is collected, analyzed, and used within appropriate timelines.
Support the implementation and monitoring of Tier 1 instructional supports and interventions, ensuring core instruction is responsive to student data and reduces the need for more intensive interventions.
Implement and monitor Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 academic and behavioral intervention systems in alignment with network expectations and school priorities.
Analyze student data to support the development, implementation, and adjustment of targeted intervention plans, including clear goals, aligned strategies, and progress monitoring measures.
Monitor the fidelity and effectiveness of interventions across tiers, using data to inform instructional adjustments and student movement between tiers.
Facilitate MTSS/problem-solving meetings to guide teachers and leaders in making data-based decisions related to student supports and intervention grouping.
Train and support teachers and EIP teachers in implementing high-quality Tier 1 supports and Tier 2/3 interventions, ensuring alignment to identified student needs.

Implement processes to track and evaluate MTSS effectiveness, including student progress, intervention outcomes, and overall system impact.

Manage compliance-related processes, including Retention and Hospital/Homebound, in alignment with district and state guidelines.
Support the onboarding and scheduling of EIP teachers, and provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure strong implementation.
Conduct targeted observations and walkthroughs during intervention blocks and core instruction to monitor implementation and fidelity, and provide actionable feedback to teachers and leaders.
Supervise and evaluate EIP teachers, ensuring high-quality implementation of targeted interventions aligned to student needs and grade-level standards.
Conduct regular observations and provide actionable coaching and feedback to strengthen instructional practices and intervention delivery.
Hold EIP teachers accountable for effective progress monitoring, documentation, and student outcomes.
Lead ongoing data review cycles with EIP teachers and school leadership to monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed.
Provide targeted training and coaching to EIP teachers, teachers, and leaders on MTSS implementation, intervention strategies, and data use.
Build staff capacity to implement effective Tier 1 supports and Tier 2/3 interventions with fidelity.
Support EIP teachers in developing aligned intervention plans that address identified skill gaps and accelerate student learning.
Use data and problem-solving frameworks to identify and deliver professional development aligned to student needs and instructional priorities.

Ensure MTSS, 504, and EIP processes are implemented in alignment with state, district, and network requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date MTSS and EIP documentation, including intervention plans, progress monitoring data, and student records.
Partner with school leadership to ensure implementation of MTSS decisions and interventions with fidelity across classrooms.
Coordinate and lead MTSS communication cycles with teachers, leaders, and families to ensure clarity of student supports and next steps.
Collaborate with SELTs, counselors, social workers, and school leadership to align academic and behavioral supports for students.
Manage systems that ensure clear roles, procedures, and documentation for effective MTSS implementation.
