Waxing & Sugaring Specialist (Esthetician / Cosmetologist)
Location: Hello Sugar – Rosie Square, Wood-Ridge, NJ
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible scheduling)
Compensation: Hourly Pay + Tips + Commission (Est. $25 – $60+/hour)
Potential to earn up to $85,000/year when transitioned to commission-based pay!
About Us
Hello Sugar is a modern, professional sugaring and waxing studio. Our Rosie Square location is growing fast, and we are looking to expand our brand to multiple locations across Northern New Jersey. We provide a supportive team environment, paid training, and incredible growth opportunities for motivated beauty professionals.
Must be licensed by the New Jersey Board of Cosmetology / Esthetics for at least 3+ years.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Provide exceptional full-body sugaring and waxing services while maintaining Hello Sugar protocols.
- Perform skin and brow consultations, and educate clients on proper skincare and aftercare.
- Actively encourage client re-bookings and sell memberships (a core component of your success and earning potential).
- Provide top-tier customer service to build a loyal, recurring clientele.
- Keep a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment.
- Attend paid educational and technique training sessions.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- NJ Esthetician or Cosmetologist license held for 3+ years (Required).
- Experience in sales is a plus, but we provide paid sales training!
- Warm, friendly, and dependable with excellent communication skills.
- Coachable, motivated to hit goals, and eager to learn new techniques.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.
- Prior sugaring and/or waxing experience is highly beneficial but we will train the right licensed candidate!
