American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an inpatient acute rehabilitation (IRF) night shift position in Edwardsville, IL, requiring BLS certification and bedside nursing experience.

Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 34 beds
-
Rehab Nursing IRF unit caring for patients with strokes, amputations, TBI, SCI, MVA injuries, orthopedic conditions, trauma, and debility
-
Patient ratio of 7:1
-
Equipment includes IVs, tube feeding pumps, Hoyer lifts, and wheelchairs/walkers
-
EMR systems: Meditech Expanse and UDS Pro Doc
-
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No call or on-call requirements
-
No floating requirements
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license in Illinois required
-
Current AHA BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of bedside nursing experience required

Proficiency in basic wound care and medication administration required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required

SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Candidate's permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility

Preferred experience includes rehab-specific nursing and IV therapy

Navy blue scrubs required

Orientation/first day check-in is at 8:30 AM with the facility educator

Candidates who have worked permanently at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
