Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant with strong expertise in Public Accounting, Tax Compliance, Tax Planning, and Client Advisory Services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing and reviewing complex federal and multi-state tax returns, conducting tax research, managing client engagements, and mentoring junior staff while providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and multi-state tax returns for corporations, pass-through entities, and individuals.
- Conduct tax research and provide practical tax planning and advisory solutions.
- Support managers, directors, and partners in delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professional service.
- Assist clients with IRS and state tax notices, audits, and inquiries.
- Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring timely project completion.
- Mentor, train, and support associates and interns.
- Develop industry expertise across manufacturing, construction, real estate, automotive dealerships, and other commercial businesses.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of Public Accounting experience in tax.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, pass-through entity, and individual taxation.
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex federal and multi-state tax returns.
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with tax software such as CCH Axcess, Caseware, CCH Fixed Assets, or similar tax applications.
- Excellent communication, client relationship management, and mentoring skills.
Pay: $100.00 - $120.00 per year
