Busy, fast paced Allergy office looking for a Medical Assistant. Job details include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Administer allergy and biologic injections
- Being trained and involved in the clinical and administrative functions of the office
- Mix antigens for allergy injections
- Ordering supplies
- Do Precertifications for Xolair, Faserna, Dupixent
- Perform skin test and PFT's
Skills
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
Experience
2 years Medical Assistant, Clinical and Injection administration experience; proficiency with computer and EMR experience; and a MA certification a must.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; must be able to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment; excellent interpersonal skills; EMR experience; clinical experience; administering injections; administrative experience; perform skin test and PFT's; punctual with strong attendance history.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
