PURPOSE: Provides prompt, courteous service to members as a universal employee who can assist members with a full range of financial services and products. Expand member relationships through cross-selling of credit union products and services that best suit our member’s lifestyle.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Build relationships and enhance member experience, respond to member requests in a friendly, helpful and positive manner.
· Process teller transactions in a prompt, efficient, confidential and accurate manner.
· Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations for the teller area, including robbery procedures.
· Balance cash drawer at the end of shift and compare totaled amounts to computer generated proof sheet; research and resolve discrepancies; report any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.
· Assists with audits of member specialists, cash dispense equipment, vault and monthly alarm/maintenance reporting.
· Assists with ordering money and/or balancing the vault.
· Serves as a back up to the manager to assist membership with opening new accounts, resolving issues, etc.
· Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, by-laws and operational procedures.
· Promote, explain and cross-sell other credit union products and services to help grow and expand the member relationship.
· Attend training and meetings as scheduled.
· All other duties as assigned.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
