Teachout Security Solutions is seeking a professional, dependable Security Officer willing to commute between Grand Rapids and Lansing, Michigan. This position primarily operates within a professional office building environment and requires strong customer service skills, basic computer proficiency.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
-
Ability to pass a background check (No misdemeanors in the past 5 years, and no felonies)

Reliable transportation and a Valid Drivers License

Ability to pass a drug screen

Willingness to travel to Grand Rapids and Lansing
- Maintain a professional security presence in an office building environment
- Operate weapons screening equipment (metal detection, X-ray equipment)
- Monitor access control systems and manage visitor check-in procedures
= Conduct interior and exterior patrols
- Utilize basic computer programs for reporting, email, and access systems
- Provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and unusual situations
