Technician Responsibilities:
- Following a daily assigned route to perform outdoor dog waste removal for our regular weekly and one time clientele, rain or shine, reporting to first stop each morning.
- Applying our Yard Odor Destroyer Deodorizing Treatment after waste removal when directed by app. This is a monthly add-on service for our clientele.
- Responsible for maintaining your work vehicle's daily gasoline levels, cleanliness, safety, and timely reporting of maintenance requests for service and taking vehicle in for scheduled service(s) when directed, during workday. (A company card is issued to cover all work related costs.)
- Assisting on routes outside of your territory.
- Flyer Canvassing in neighborhoods within your territory.
Mandatory availability during service hours: 7AM - 6PM Depending on Daylight, Monday thru Friday. Typical routes are completed within an 8 hour workday. There may be times that require overtime.
Technician Qualifications/Skills:
- Clean, point free driving record is MANDATORY. Applicants must be 26+ years or older for insurance requirements.
- Screenings: Employment is contingent on passing a background check, drug screening (excluding THC), and physical examination. Applicants with poor driving history will not be considered.
- Must have a smartphone with reliable service. Cell phones functionally must operate several work based apps simultaneously. Unlimited data plan recommended.
- Must be a self starter, punctual and can work alone and perform manual labor in strenuous conditions.
- Must be a problem solver with great situational awareness.
- Understanding of combination locks, gates, keyed entry points, gate codes and latching and securing heavy gates.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand, crouch, bend, and walk for long periods.
- Must be able to perform labor intensive tasks in direct sun, cold, and rain.
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
Experience
- General laborer, landscaping, warehouse, maintenance, groundskeeping, and driving experience preferred, but not required, we will train the right candidate.
- Customer service skills are a plus. Must be able to communicate with customers in person, verbally or in written form in a friendly, professional and helpful way.
- Experience with dogs is preferred.
