Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Archaeology Monitor to join our team and support environmental and cultural resource compliance during construction along a fish restoration project on the Elochoman River. This is a very basic role, but mandatory for us to have someone monitoring while we are excavating. The main responsibility will be to look at each scoop of dirt as its excavated. There will be a daily monitoring report needed. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to responsible land use by ensuring archaeological sites are preserved and protected. Your work will help facilitate smooth project execution while safeguarding important cultural heritage and adhering to environmental permitting requirements.

- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to environmental compliance, cultural resources, and site conditions.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, methodologies
Qualifications
- Archeology degree
- Proven laboratory experience in artifact analysis or related archaeological procedures.
- Prior construction or environmental project experience is highly desirable to understand project workflows and constraints.
- Strong analysis skills combined with a keen eye for detail in data collection, research, and site assessment activities.
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
