Job Summary
Hunting Dearborn is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Account Manager who provides sales results through mutually beneficial relationships and delivering on customer expectations, discovering and solidifying business opportunities, and coordinating activities related to delivery of services. Sets appropriate expectations for all stakeholders and meets internal quality guidelines while providing customer service to accounts. Develops, maintains, and enriches (internal and external) customer relationships, ensures work flows and deliverables are communicated, identifies and generates new opportunities for business and sales growth. Tasks required to produce results include prospecting, customer support, quoting, and business support.

Responsibilities
- Produce sales results as demonstrated through purchase orders and bookings.
- Engage in activities to drive results through prospecting, quoting, price negotiation, customer and business support.
- Identify products which match organizational capabilities and earn opportunities for new or current customer additions.
- Qualify prospects. Identify priority of quote requests and communicate clear expectations to customers and internal stakeholders to support this effort.
- Ensures clear understanding of customer needs, communicate with the internal stakeholders (purchasing, project management, quality, etc.) on job quotes/estimates, through consistent communication and coordination of direct sales activities.
- Develop & maintain positive partnerships with customers. Foster long-term relationships at all levels of Customers’ organization and with internal stakeholders in order to meet Total Customer Satisfaction objectives.
- Effectively translate and deliver technical information to internal and external non-technical audiences.
- Place accurate and detailed sales orders into the system in order to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Mentor new Customer Service Representatives (CSR) within department
- Manage assigned accounts (solo or in collaboration with team) as the Division primary point of contact
- Senior Account Manager (additional responsibilities):
- Mentor new Account Managers within department.
- Manage “key” or “strategic” anchor customers with a high level of discretionary decision making.
- Aid with high level customer negotiations such as Long-Term Agreements (LTA), Master Supplier Agreements (MSA), Purchase Agreements (PA), and Terms & Conditions of contracts (T&C).
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of Customer Service or Account Management
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Five years of relevant industry experience or combination experience and education highly preferred.
- Time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Self-Directed and effective problem solving skills

Pay: $68,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
