She Wolf Bakery is seeking a full time pastry cook for our Brooklyn Navy Yard location. Our pastry program is based on using local, stone-milled whole grains, seasonal local produce, and New York state dairy and eggs.
This is a full time (40 hour/week) position that requires early morning availability. We offer regular schedules, but not permanent ones, so flexibility is also required. The starting rate of pay for this position is $19/hr. After a 90-day introductory period, all employees receive a review of their performance and rate of pay.

Key responsibilities include:

Pastry production and bake off

Daily ingredient/stock management

Maintain a clean kitchen and equipment

Successful candidates will:

Have 1+ years of professional cooking experience with solid production skills. (Experience in a kitchen is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency.)
