What You'll Do
As a Non-CDL Driver / Crew Leader, you'll operate a 26-foot straight truck while leading a crew on residential and commercial moving projects throughout Southeast Michigan.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely transport household and commercial goods
- Lead and supervise moving crews on job sites
- Load, unload, pack, and protect customer belongings
- Complete inventories and required paperwork
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the moving process
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Weekend work available as needed
- Start times typically between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM
- End times vary based on daily assignments
What We're Looking For
- Valid Michigan Chauffeur's License (Class C)
- Clean driving record
- Age 21 or older
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong work ethic and customer service skills
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Prior moving, delivery, transportation, warehouse, furniture delivery, or crew leadership experience preferred
Requirements
- Pass DOT physical
- Pass MVR review
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
