Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico required
- New Mexico PED License preferred
- Prior experience working with pediatric or K-12 school populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt interventions based on student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students referred for issues related to motor and sensory motor development
- Develop, plan, and implement corrective and preventative therapy programs tailored to each student
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and individualized treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and family members to support students’ functional independence in the educational environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight for student success
- Stay updated on best practices and adhere to school policies, district guidelines, and ethical standards
