Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Provide medical administrative support, including maintaining patient records and updating information
- Assist with medical scheduling, coordinating appointments and managing the therapist's calendar
- Manage medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations of the medical office
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal and healthcare professionals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial but not required
