Soma Tech Intl is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic & Web Designer to join our marketing team in Bloomfield, CT. This hands-on position combines graphic design, website management, product photography, and marketing production.
The ideal candidate has strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, basic wordpress and website experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects while working independently.
Soma Tech Intl has been in business for more than 30 years and sells new, demo, and refurbished capital medical equipment.
Responsibility
- Create digital and print marketing materials, advertisements, graphics, and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Create, publish, and maintain product pages on the company website, including product descriptions, specifications, images, and supporting documentation.
- Research medical equipment and manufacturer information to develop accurate, easy-to-understand product content.
- Photograph, edit, optimize, and upload product images for use on the website and in marketing materials.
- Create product specification sheets, PDFs, and other sales and marketing materials.
- Review and update existing website content to improve accuracy, presentation, images, and overall quality.
- Create graphics and materials for email campaigns, social media, blogs, trade shows, print advertising, and other marketing initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, maintain accurate project tracking, and communicate progress or potential delays to the marketing team.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Basic knowledge and experience managing website content; WordPress experience is a plus.
- Strong written communication, proofreading, and attention to detail.
- Ability to research technical products and turn complex information into clear, user-friendly content.
- Experience with product photography, photo editing, and creating marketing materials is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and collaborate effectively with a team. A portfolio of graphic and web design work is preferred.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
