What You'll Do
- Count, verify, and manage cash at the start and end of shifts.
- Prepare and distribute tills to multiple hotel locations and handle daily deposits securely.
- Reconcile accounts, track budgets, and monitor expenses.
- Maintain detailed inventory records, oversee receiving and storage of goods, and conduct audits.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and inventory summaries.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
- Support other departments with transaction recording, cash handling, and budget tracking.
- Follow all hotel financial policies, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closeouts, including reconciling accounts and resolving credit card discrepancies.
Who You Are
- Reliable with regular attendance and flexible to work varying schedules, including holidays.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy in all financial and inventory tasks.
- Skilled in accounting software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem solver, able to reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Professional, friendly, and able to collaborate with all departments.
- Experienced in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a hospitality environment.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
