CNC Machine Operator
GLASSource LLC is a rapidly growing state-of-the-art glass fabrication facility looking for CNC Machine Operators.
This position is temp to hire with the option of direct hire based upon employment history and relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operating and Programming CNC production machinery to fabricate high end custom glass products
- Proactively diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve machine-related defects or errors, implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence
- Ensure that work is being performed in a manner to produce quality glass products, according to the company’s quality standards
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, consistently following and promoting safe practices while operating equipment and performing tasks.
- Perform tasks in line with the company’s standardized work instructions, while optimizing productivity and quality
- Operate material handling equipment such as overhead cranes
- Apply mechanical expertise to clean, maintain, and repair machines as required, ensuring smooth and reliable machine operation
Position Qualifications
- A solid understanding of manufacturing; previous experience is beneficial
- Ability to meet production standards in a safe manner
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure, both standard and metric
- Solid computer skills and ability to perform programming
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Acute attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Physical dexterity
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Ability to train/mentor new and existing employee
